HE SERVED IN THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE FROM 1990 TO 1996
Dominic served in the United States Air Force from 1990 to 1996, earning his VFW eligibility by serving in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm during the Gulf War as an Aircraft Structural Maintenance Specialist. In recognition of his service he received the Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Longevity Service Award, Air Force Training Ribbon, Southwest Asia Service Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal (Saudi Arabia), Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait), Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Force Overseas Short Tour Ribbon
He joined the VFW in 2019 as a Life Member at Post 1419. He is also a member of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association ® Chapter 19-6 since 2020.
Dominic was stationed in Wurtsmith AFB in Oscoda, Mi where he maintained the B-52 Stratorfortress and KC-135 Stratortanker, Charleston AFB in Charleston SC, where he maintained the C-141 Starlifter and was on the C-17A Globemaster test team and Keflavik NAS in Keflavik, Iceland, maintaining HH-60 Blackhawk Helicopters and F-15 Eagle.
Dominic works for General Motors. He is an Electrician by trade, but has been appointed as the Apprenticeship Chairman.
He lives in Orchard Park, NY with his wife and two sons.
